I started from punting my ideas and details like:

• type of animation/style

• where story is based
• what is the  time of the day 
• character details       

Went to the place, where I want to start my story, took good look and a video of idea how my animation will start. I'm planing to comeback to that place and take a lot of photos and panoramic photos as well for designing my environment.all my pictures and videos will be available in   research documentation and reference tab.

Started working on my story board today, I have put all my references fro mood boards plus I have used my own pictures from Scottish parliament and transfer everything to Photoshop and started sketching first ideas,  more mood boards are available on the research tab.

                                       

After I finished story boards , I was continue to work on my research documentation
it took me a while so I had to spread it over few days.
I have changed my character due to the fact I was not sure about the design and also my friend asked me if he can be in the animation. So I had to check my time if I can afford extra work to replace the character. But I was ahead of my project so that was not a problem. we took few pictures for the reference and I started to drawing him.


                                     





After finishing the design I started to work on the animatic with the updated character,  then I added sound and titles o the animatic, and give it for the feedback for few people and my teacher, the feedback was really good, and I had to adjust only a few things, which they were in my head anyway.

After animatic is done I need to start working on the final version and update my documentation as well.

I have met my friend for voice acting we have done few examples over the phone, and he send me some, files but unfortunately quality was not good, so we had to arrange a meeting, but after 2 weeks planning we can't get our schedule to work, so we can meet just for half day, so I had to record voice by myself. I will be using music from my animatic same for sounds.

The color pallet was ready for the final project basically from the beginning, based on the original footage. so what I had to add was special effects in after effect, like particle effects on the electric cable, spider walking on the wall, blur effect and others, also my character animation was done in after effect. For the scene in the future city, I have used animated 3D model, and muted it on the 2d environment, just to add extra detail to my scene.

As for the animation I had to focus on the facial gestures, so I created different eyes and mouth expressions in photoshop, and combine them in after effect, and put them on different layers. So the character has some more life now.


Last week after finishing all the final animations and special effects, I have opened premier pro with my animatic,  and just replace footage with my new animation that was rendered in after effect, last thing that needs to be added is sound but because I'm using music from animatic I'm just adjusting music so it fits new sequence. same for sounds, I'm adjusting everything so it matches and just adding few new sounds.
This week after teacher feedback on my first version for my animation I have finished my animation and just waiting to show it to the rest of the class.

After showing the latest version I'm working on my feedback, from the class, its quite big feedback, and I know already I'm not gonna be to do them all because don't have that much time. So I need to choose what is most important and try to focus on that.

Today I started working on some of my feedback, including scene transition and music adjustment,
the beginning needs to be changed, sound where the main character is standing on the roof and police car appears the music sound is too loud so i had to adjust it, the blending between future scene and prehistoric scene needed adjustment, i hd to speed it up, after that  the music at the end was too quiet, so I had to add music on top of the sounds that was there already.
I was considering working more on movements but due to my time limits I will struggle to do it.
So I would concentrate what I can afford to do with the time I have now.
